Welcome to the Hun School of Princeton’s first ever Women In the World Summit! This year’s theme is Breaking Boundaries, and the goal of the summit is to promote intersectional conversations on the role women play in our world. Organized by Hun’s Gender Equity Matters Club, this event will be the first women’s summit in Hun’s history. We are honored to hold this event on such an important year, as 2021 marks 50 years since female students were first allowed to attend the school. We sincerely hope you enjoy the summit, thank you for joining us and making a positive change in the world.

In this session, Dr. Snipes will share several key insights he has gained on his journey into Black feminism led by the sagacious bell hooks. The goal of the session will be to help young boys and men recognize patriarchy in their everyday lives and seek ways to work with feminists to destroy it. Session participants will hear not only from Dr. Snipes but also the voices of other boys and men who are seeking to better understand and dismantle patriarchy in U.S. society. The session will be a unique blend of emerging voices in feminist scholarship and authentic personal storytelling.
